Green Homes For Sale in Dallas, Texas

Word green is as popular word today in real estate as short sale or foreclosure. Green features and certifications are now mainstream on new construction. Clients are seeking to save on energy along with helping environment. Dallas, TX builders advertize their green features now to attract a new clientelle. However, not all green homes for sale are the same!

Yesturday I spoke with the president of one of the premeir green builders in Flower Mound, TX - Stillbrooke homes. What's interesting is that instead of boasting on potential energy savings from his green features (and Stillbrooke green features are extensive : such as low E windows, Dupont insullation), they have a pile of actual energy bills from clients of the past few years who have lived in a stillbrooke home for a year or more. The savings are amazing. The electric bill for 4300 sq. ft. two story, high ceiling home is $223 in a summer month! More over, this builder is implementing inside out green features that other builders simply can not match. Insullation, variable speed furnice, low HERS raitings to name a few. Homes are high quality and affordable.
